Luma does not require an account. You can use the app without signing in or creating a membership.
Recordings and settings are stored locally on your computer by default. Luma does not upload recordings to a vendor cloud as part of normal use.
Optional LAN access stays on your own network. Turning it on lets other devices you choose reach this computer; it does not send files to Luma’s servers.
Screen, microphone, and camera capture happen only when you start those features. Luma does not record in the background without that action.
